Lang’s convoluted and silly yet tremendously fun, action-packed spy thriller (which has something to do with a secret service agent attempting to infiltrate a Russian spy ring, I think) – combining a truly evil looking Klein-Rogge, a ridiculously sexy Maurus, a plot to baffle most, several well-staged set-pieces, gorgeous photography, and copious graphically depicted suicides – proves to be a slight but entertaining effort from the German master.
