Two soul obsessed young men - one from Liverpool, the other an American - who have just started a mobile ‘60s disco, somehow manage to stumble into a dodgy deal involving counterfeit money printing plates, British Rail buffet cars, and a road trip, via the Lake District, to Parkeston, Essex, in this beautifully drawn, wonderfully soundtracked, perfectly cast, blackly comic delight.
