Judd Apatow and David Gordon Green make quite the most unlikely collaborators, and the tone of the resulting film, a tale of two stoners on the run from a homicidal drug dealer, is just as odd as this surprising partnership, but certainly not in an unpleasant way, and although the film is often unnervingly unpredictable, it is never less than entertaining, and is frequently laugh-out-loud funny.
