Satirical and silly, intelligent and idiotic, innovative and imitative - Lewis’s wonderful, plotless little concoction, following the misadventures of an incompetent bellboy in a swanky Miami hotel, is a by turns trouser soilingly funny and gratingly annoying yet never less than compelling film, full of wonderful visual gags and daffy set-pieces.
