Jennings’s follow up to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) never quite lives up to its fantastic sounding premise - two young boys, lonely outsiders, tentatively form a friendship whilst making their own version of First Blood (1982) with a camcorder and plenty of enthusiasm - but the largely unsentimental film is never less than entertaining and manages to hold one’s attention throughout with some accomplished juvenile performances and a few nice visual flourishes.
